hello ^^

Ok, so I havn't posted anything for a while now, but I've been lazy..so meh! :) Today was my birthday, which was fun, uneventful, and amazing. There was a missions dinner, and that totally made it awesome. It was nice to just rest today. I would also like to say that my first day of college starts tomarrow. woot! -_- lol
This summer was great, and I'm happy to say that it was the longest yet. Now for the big stuff. It will be interesting to see what the classes will be like. I (being the nerd that I am) already read some of my new text books. All I can say is, "Oh boy." In my geology class, it has already ruled out catastrophism as a lame explaination, giving it a whole two paragraphs. The they spent the next page and a half telling of the glories of the discoveries in the wonderful study of Unifomitarianism (er however ye spellz it). sheesh. And I'm not even gonna try to explain the Psychology book. It's just very..... backward. I'll leave it at that. I have never been so thankful for growing up in a Christian home and for going to church every sunday since the day i was born (well, I've probably missed like three or four Sundays but, you get the idea ^^). In other words, I'm thankful for having a "pretty-semi-decent-nowhere-close-to-being-full knowlege of what my beliefs are as I enter this enemy ruled domain known as "University." I know that my Savior will be with me as I attempt to learn what I need to learn, and not what the world will shove at me from now untill the distant year of 2012. I can only pray that nothing will be sneakily fed to my mind as I study that will cause me to question my faith. I've seen it happen, and I don't want to fall away from my loving Father that way. I know He will hold onto me, but I pray that He will also give me the strength to stand firm in my belief and be an example to those who would be watching.
Sorry this was a long one, but I needed to write this out. Maybe I'll read it in 4 years time. And I'll either thank the Lord for His unending love and mercy, or I'll look at it with disgust and erase it and wonder how I could have ever thought that way....

....May it never be the latter.
