Summer thus far...

I have been reading alot lately just started on book #nine and am making my way through its 814 pages. Am trying to think of what to make for me next vid. It iz really hard to work with friends on them. We always end up talking too much, and not getting enough footage, and by the time we have a chance another time to take more, I usually have changed me mind and want to film somthing different. lolz. I love my church, and have been working there more and more, just helping them with setting up and taking down for events and being ready and able if they need help with anything. I still don't have a job. I applied at Borders..no word. AMC movie theatre..no word. And a bunch of other places. I was too late I suppose. ^~^ Am going to camp this week, so I wont be posting for a little while. It's only five days, but it's always such a spiritually uplifting experiance...right now I feel like I really need that...

Caught in da rain...

Well, the title is pretty self explanitory but this is what happened....

My dad and I went to our favorite little coffee shop this morning. We like to play cards there and have gotten to really know some of the workers there. It's neat having a place like that. When we got home, I got on the pc and did some pointless searching and I read me book for a little while.... then me phone rang. Guess who? ^_^ Josef says, "Hey! Me. Can you hang out?" So I say, "Hi me. Yes, I am quite hang-out-able at present." "Meet me at the gezebo." "Oki doki." So I get there, but....there's a slight problem. It iz drizzling. Not really a problem per se... In FL., it can go one of two ways, it can stop in the next two seconds, or it can pour and end in the next two hours. When Josef got there, we both agreed that we were hardy Floridians and didn't really care if we got a little wet... -_- Obvious mistake. It starts to rain harder, but instead of going inside (which really didn't seem like an option at the time because our goal in the first place was to get out of the house) we decided to go to the other gezebo. It was better covered by trees.. but it was farther away from our houses. But being the completely....eh, what's the word...DUMB, teenagers that we are, we decided to take the risk and talk down there. Another obvious mistake. By the time we got there, it was already raining harder but we weren't soaked so, no biggy. Yet. We were there a grand total of one minute...when the sky seemed to open up and let loose a "leak" worthy of hurricane season. And we were trapped, and getting wet. We forgot to calculate the wind factor too. So we waited...and waited. And for good measure, waited some more. I took a picture to remember this "joyful" er... memorable event. After an hour of waiting, and thorughly getting soaked, we decided to make a run for the lake. There were more trees. Stupid us, more trees=more cover... that's when the lightning started. *sigh* we stole down to the lake. Actually we skipped, yeah....skipped. It's not every day that you get to skip in a monsoon. :D There were some old plastic benches overlooking the lake so we picked one up and carried it over our heads. Then decided to go back to the gezebo, so we took the bench and left it by the street and walked back. lolz. It's still sitting there. Heehee. It finally stopped raining after the guessed two hours and we walked back to me house to play with me dog and kill eachother in video games. I love summer.... ^~^

And that is how I spent my day! *collapses from exhastion*

Me Friends in FL

In response to a prior request (lolz ^~^) I haz posted some picz of me friends in FL.

This one was actually taken in NC. lol. from left to right. Tesa, Tali, and Kathleen. church buddies!, and thats pretty much the only time I see 'em.

This is me with me long-time friend Jessie. She gradgimacated too, she just changed outta da annoying robe/gown thingy faster. We knowded eachother since we were...well I iz 6 months older, so, since I was 6 months old, haha ^^;

This iz Josh. yeah. Good uhh. friend. Iz leaving though. *ish sad* He is leaving for da Naval (Navel...Navol.... ?_?) Accadamy. We used to be in certain classes together and would play airsoft together. *sigh* fun times.

This is Nick. He lives in me "hood" lolz. Ish half cuban half italian. uhh... plays bass/second guitar in our band. is almost 16. He likes to make movies. Been in a couple of them. heehee.

And this is Josef. Not the best pic of him but, only semi/good one I could find. haha ^^; This was at Halloween. He was supposed to be a security guard for Nick. lolz

Summer

OK...so I feel really lazy, but it's summer, right? Problem is, it may be too late to get a job. So just to pass the time, I've been making movies, and reading, and running. The running is really hard though, 'cuz of the heat. My friend josef and I have been hanging out a lot though lately, practically every day this week. All of our other friends are out and about for the beggining-of-summer-family-getaway-stuff. So we're like, spending time together, while we wait for the rest to come back from vacation stuff. It's been fun though, I hope we still hang out when people start getting back. Been reading alot lately too. I LOVE to read. Did I ever mention that? ^_^ I'm a book nerd, and proud of it. Just about to finish Pendragon: Raven Rise, book 9 in the series. Things are getting pretty wacky in it, not that they wern't before. It's just that more things are coming together and more questions being answered..and it's still confuzing! >.<>.< ;)*)
